REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Manager Logistics Inventory in Winston-Salem, NC

Leading a centralized logistics team responsible for inventory control, inventory accuracy, and reconciliation processes for company-owned inventory managed by third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and external warehouse partners. Drive inventory governance and compliance to ensure strong control practices with SOX adherence across the organization. Role will provide strategic leadership to team responsible for daily SAP-to-WMS inventory reconciliation and processes. Responsibilities include building vendor relationships and ensuring accountability, ensuring financial inventory controls, and fulfillment of SOX controls.

Responsible for inventory health, inventory accuracy, systems governance, analytical insights, and inventory optimization initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Develop and execute inventory strategies, policies, and governance processes that support customer service, working capital, compliance, and operational objectives.
  • Lead inventory control and optimization initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, health, utilization, and supply continuity while mitigating inventory-related risks.
  • Oversee inventory integrity through cycle counts, reconciliations, audits, physical inventories, and corrective actions to ensure compliance and control effectiveness.
  • Drive SOX compliance and ensure consistent execution of inventory controls and processes across warehouse operations.
  • Lead warehouse management system governance, reporting, dashboards, and analytics to enhance inventory visibility, performance measurement, and decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Warehousing, Transportation, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, and Technology to improve inventory performance and business continuity.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the inventory team while fostering a culture of accountability, process discipline, continuous improvement, and strong internal and external business partnership.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field of study and 7+ years related work experience OR Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field of study and 9+ years related work experience
  • Progressive leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, supply chain, or operations management.
  • Experience leading inventory governance, inventory optimization, and inventory control programs.
  • Experience utilizing ERP, WMS, SAP, reporting, and analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated success improving inventory accuracy, visibility, and control effectiveness.
  • Experience managing multiple vendor relationships, driving root cause investigations and issue resolution, with a strong compliance background in a fast-paced environment.
