You will be responsible for growing brands by building strong, lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders. If you are passionate about taking on responsibility, holding yourself accountable, and making a significant impact, this is the role for you.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nAchieves commercial sales and growth objectives within territory assignment in support of Division, Region, and Company goals.\nDevelops a local strategy and business plan for meeting individualized territory objectives, including identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and targeting existing and potential retail outlets within geographic territory for product sales opportunities.\nDevelops strategy for product and Point of Sale (POS) material placements to optimize sales and market visibility.\nAchieve customer/consumer engagement skills certification and consistently demonstrate mastery within Territory.\nBuilds client willingness and capability to collaborate with the Company on key business fundamentals and drivers to accelerate the transformation of the tobacco industry, and to increase market share.\nDevelops and maintains business relationships with local chains and distributors to increase sales and promote Reynolds brands through personal correspondence and influence, retail visits and presentations.\nSell/execute the 5Ps of presence, pricing, promotion, product, and personal selling to customers and adult nicotine consumers.\nAnalyses territory to identify and negotiate contracts with new retail customer opportunities.\nCollaborates with Division Manager on territory-specific customer and sales planning, company product initiatives, and improving market share within the territory.\nTechnical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required include, but are not limited to:\nAbility to communicate with and engage retail customers and adult nicotine consumers in person.\nEffective influencing, sales, negotiation, and marketing skills\nHighly effective verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent analytical skills\nProject Management Skills\nGood business judgment\nLeadership, self-motivation, and initiative\nHas a high level of persistence, resilience, and results orientation.\nConflict management and problem-solving for mutually beneficial results\nStrategic and financial acumen to enable the identification, evaluation, and action against business growth.\nopportunities\nAbility to travel frequently.\nAbility to drive up to 200 miles per day.\nValid U.S. driver’s license and safe driving records\nPhysical Requirements include, but are not limited to:\nAbility to lift to 30 lbs.\nAbility to climb and work from heights ranging from 9 to 12 feet.\nAbility to access and work in limited and confined spaces.\nAbility to visually inspect and manipulate merchandise and advertising displays.\nAbility to frequently stoop, kneel and crouch.\nEducation / Qualifications / Certifications\nBachelor’s degree or comparable work experience preferred.\nWhat are we looking for?\nProven ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.\nCommitted to continuous personal and professional growth.\nProficient in MS Office applications\nBeneficial\nPrevious experience in a marketing-focused role - preferably in sales, field market or business to business\nDemonstrated ability to perform a sales representative/territory manager role successfully.\nGeographically mobile - To enable obtaining critical experiences to further career growth, being mobile to different geographic locations across the United States will be imperative for future advancement opportunities.\nWe are Reynolds American -A member of the British American Tobacco Group\nAt Reynolds American, we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
