We are a team of 8 motivated people with 50 years of experience in industry and robotics. Our mission is to make robots smarter and more flexible, enabling batch-size-1 automation for surface treatment economically. Our technology helps factories in Europe to remain competitive with intelligent robotics.\nMission-Driven Impact: We choose to tackle the hard, unglamorous problem of physical-world automation because the preservation of industrial resilience across Europe depends on it.\nHigh Agency & Speed: We move too fast for corporate politics, showmasters, or heavy meeting cultures. If something is broken, you have the full mandate to fix it.\nRadical Candor: We maintain a lean, transparent environment where open feedback is shared early, failure is processed quickly, and technical truth always wins.\nWe are now looking for a Founder Associate (m/f/d) with relentless ambition, massive grit, and an entrepreneurial mindset to work directly alongside the founders. This is a high-ownership, high-agency generalist role designed as a definitive launchpad for future founders. You will get a front-row seat to building a venture-backed hard-tech company from the ground up.\nTasks\nGo-To-Market & Growth: Design, execute, and scale outbound experiments, validate customer discovery loops, and help sharpen our commercial positioning.\nFundraising & Strategy: Partner directly with the founders on fundraising preparation, investor pipelines, market research, and financial modeling. \nOperations & Scale: Help transition early commercial momentum into repeatable internal operations, managing special logistics, procurement, and setup projects.\nTalent Acquisition: Work closely with the team to identify, source, and interview early core team members as we scale our engineering and commercial pipelines.\nZero-to-One Execution: Step into any critical business gap-whether structural, operational, or commercial-and build solutions from scratch\nRequirements\nMindset over Manuals: You exhibit extreme agency, an urgent work ethic, and immense grit. You don't wait for a playbook; you enjoy writing it in real-time.\nHigh-Octane Trajectory: First-rate degree from a top-tier university or ecosystem with prior experience in fast-paced setups like venture capital, consulting, or early-stage startups.\nTechnical & Digital Intuition: Deeply curious about AI developments, software/agentic tools, and engineering realities; comfortable working alongside top-tier ML engineers.\nComfort with Ambiguity: You thrive on uncertainty and view unstructured problems as an exciting puzzle rather than a bottleneck.\nBilingual Communicator: Exceptional, confident communication skills in both German and English to seamlessly navigate conversations with European mid-sized manufacturers and global investors.\nBenefits\nImpact: The unique opportunity to rethink industrial automation for batch-size-1 with cutting-edge AI to maintain European manufacturing sovereignty.\nGrowth: Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts in a high-growth VC-funded startup.\nOwnership: Direct opportunity to actively shape the company's technical direction and hardware strategy.\n Environment: A modern, central workspace in Munich with a collaborative, international culture.\nWant to shape the future of industrial robotics?\nWe look forward to meeting you!","description_format":"text","description_chars":3518,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"master","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"German","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Industrial Robotics","Industrial AI"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-04T20:31:14Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":8,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.219,"p_room":0.36,"age_days":102,"expected_fill_days":56,"reasons":["conf:5","win:tail","crowd:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-31T05:58:55Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/batch-robotics-founder-associate-physical-ai-robotics-mfd-full-time-or-gap-year-intern","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/batch-robotics-founder-associate-physical-ai-robotics-mfd-full-time-or-gap-year-intern.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-01T03:18:31Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":5138,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-02T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":3894181},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=3894181"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fbatch-robotics-founder-associate-physical-ai-robotics-mfd-full-time-or-gap-year-intern"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fbatch-robotics-founder-associate-physical-ai-robotics-mfd-full-time-or-gap-year-intern"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fbatch-robotics-founder-associate-physical-ai-robotics-mfd-full-time-or-gap-year-intern"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/batch-robotics-founder-associate-physical-ai-robotics-mfd-full-time-or-gap-year-intern\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fbatch-robotics-founder-associate-physical-ai-robotics-mfd-full-time-or-gap-year-intern"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":1859871}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"batch-robotics.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":1859871},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people);
