In addition to preparing dishes and maintaining stations, this role includes assisting with prep cook and dishwasher tasks to support smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality food preparation and contribute to a clean, efficient, and collaborative kitchen environment. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepare food for service. \nSet up and stock stations with all necessary prep and supplies.\nAnswer, report to, and follow the Kitchen Manager and Shift Manager. \nEnsure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion.\nComply with all DOH regulations and safety standards.\nMaintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.\nAssist with porter tasks, including dishwashing, trash removal, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.\nDESIRED SKILLS\nExperience: 1-2 years of experience as a line cook, Restaurant cook, or Prep Cook.\nEducation: High school or equivalent (preferred)\nAble to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.\nBe an organized thinker with the ability to prioritize tasks.\nMust be reliable and professional. The attendance policy is strictly observed.\nAbility to work independently and be a team and a team player.\nCandidates with flexible availability will be prioritized.\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nJob Type: Full time.
