Handle master data to ensure accurate capacity planning and lead times for assigned orders. This role is onsite 5 days a week in Elk Grove Village, IL\nKey Responsibilities:\nSchedule production lines based on customer demand and capacity constraints.\nWork cross functionally with replenishment and procurement teams to ensure schedule can be attained.\nInvestigate, analyze, and initiate bills of material, and perform necessary systems maintenance.\nExecute, document, and distribute reports daily, to be used as tools for decision making by production personnel and manufacturing analyst/schedulers.\nDevelop and maintain optimized sequencing to minimize planned downtime for the production team.\nSupport overall manufacturing workflow visibility by providing planning and coordination of product movement throughout manufacturing process.\nProactively work with other functional leaders across the site(s) to create synergies and maintain effective workflow.\nLeads weekly operational meetings with internal and/or external production teams to discuss the current production plan, required staff, sets priorities, and overcomes obstacles encountered.\nMeasures and monitors production floor output/performance and makes required scheduling changes as needed.\nResponds to demand and supply changes in a timely and accurate manner to minimize production downtime and maintain efficiencies.\nMonitoring packaging needed to support schedule and communicating with vendors regarding packaging that might be needed.\nDevelop Production KPI’s and work with operation and maintenance (Capacity Utilization, Standard operating efficiency, OOE - Overall Operating Efficiency, OEE - Overall equipment effectiveness, downtime, inventory turns).\nAll other duties as assigned.\nEducation and Formal Training:\nBS or Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field highly preferred.\n3-5 years capacity planning experience in a production environment required.\nAbility to adapt to change in the workplace.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical skills.\nExtensive knowledge in Microsoft applications required.\nKnowledge of WMS and D365;\nStrong understanding of inventory control.\nKnowledge of bills of materials required.\n\nBatory Foods in an equal opportunity employer which considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status or any other characteristic protected by law.
