With competitive salaries and a robust benefits package, there is no better time to join us.\nWe are currently seeking a talented Project Engineer I, II, or III in Boyce, LA to join our family. Your initial project assignment would be a 1.5-billion-dollar data center project.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include:\nRecognizes change conditions with respect to the contract and notifies appropriate parties\nEnsures all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications, coordinates inspections and testing\nAssists with constructability reviews and value engineering functions\nAssembles construction financial data; monitors costs; tracks costs for force accounts\nAssists in the definition of contract bid packages, coordinating scopes of work, and in preparing the packages\nCreates correspondence to owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, etc\nAssist project personnel with daily job reports and schedule monitoring\nPrepares drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.\nCompletes appropriate paperwork for new field hires\nEnsures correct setup and maintenance of filing system\nMaintains job costing system and updates systems to reflect forecasts; creates margin reporting\nTakes weekly jobsite photographs\nMaintains RFI Logs and timely response to job questions\nMaintains as-built drawings; posts RFI, bulletin and ASI as appropriate\nAssists with pre-construction activities as needed (construction planning and design; interpretation of design and drawings; application of construction methods; bid packages).\nAssists in project close-out activities\nDevelops, implements, and administers project engineering procedures and other work documents; tracks and logs documentation\nAssists and preparing project status reports and participates in project status meetings; assists in the development of meeting minutes\nMaintains all safety records\nInterprets designs and drawings; prepares takeoffs; researches and recommends resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors.\nCommunicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, employees).
