Complete any necessary certifications if required to do so.\nHeavy lifting (up to 70 pounds without assistance).\nMaintain a working knowledge of workmanship standards as well as the ISO quality system. Utilize these practices in everyday activity.\nProblem solve through root-cause analysis and other methodologies.\nMaintain change documentation.\nRegular and reliable attendance.\nMechanical Assembler II job functions include, but may not be limited to:\nDesign and install custom stainless steel tube runs and swage tubes.\nPull up existing programs and operate CNC tube bender.\nIdentify and communicate problems with drawings, schematics, components (fabricated and purchased), etc.\nEnsure job remains clean, neat and organized during build.\nFollow workmanship instructions and suggest improvements to instructions.\nInstall and align compressor and motor.\nOperate an overhead or jib crane.\nMaintain BOM change information throughout build.\nTrain Mechanical Assembler I.\nUnderstand and complete the required job paperwork and assembly time requirements.\nUnderstand and incorporate Lean problem solving methodologies (ex- 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.) to facilitate process improvement.\nWork with engineering to resolve issues.\nESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh school education or equivalent.\nThree years minimum experience in heavy-duty mechanical assembly.\nEnglish fluency and able to communicate with others effectively.\nProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics for placement of parts.\nProficient in reading and interpreting standard measuring devices such as tape measures, scales, squares, etc.\nProficient in safely operating forklift and overhead/jib crane.\nAble to identify and safely operate standard hand, power and air tools.\nAble to follow directions and work independently\nPossess high quality standards.\nIntermediate understanding of piping, tubing (stainless steel) swaging and belt alignment.\nCan adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.
