The VLM Coordinator will perform product order selection from the VLM (vertical lift machine), perform inventory transactions and will be a coordinator with the VLM Specialist and Material Handler Coordinator. The VLM Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor\nJOB FUNCTIONS\nInclude the following, but other duties may be assigned.\nRead job orders and select products with a high level of accuracy.\nPull products or receive products into the VLM and perform associated inventory transactions in the ERP system.\nComplete job and transfer job order transactions with a high level of efficiency and accuracy in the ERP system.\nDeliver parts to the Small Parts Shipping Department, Administration, Fabrication, and Production buildings, as needed.\nComplete paperwork or necessary forms required for documentation. \nOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage, as needed.\nAssist with cycle counts and all scheduled fiscal inventories.\nMust follow all safety rules and seek to maintain a safe working environment.\nCross-train and work in other warehouse departments (receiving, floor pick, parts shipping) as needed to support warehouse operations.\nHelp train others for warehouse job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures.\nFully-operate VLM machinery and perform VLM Specialist duties during absences.\nPerforms other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. \nRegular and reliable attendance.\nESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent; OR a minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse, storeroom, logistics or distribution environment.\nRF Scanner experience.\nBasic computer proficiency including ERP system experience.\nAble to accurately use basic math skills.\nSolid verbal and written communication skills.\nMust be detail oriented with a drive for efficiency and accuracy of work.\nAbility to multitask and prioritize demands in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be a self-starter with a sense of urgency.\nVALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nVLM (Vertical Lifting Machine) and/or Carousel picking experience a plus.\nForklift experience or certification.\nREPORTING TO THIS POSITION\nNo direct reports.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
