This position reports to the Inbound Operations Manager.\nJOB FUNCTIONS\nInclude the following, but other duties may be assigned.\nProcess and deliver customer returns to the proper locations.\nReceive shipments from the vendor or shipper in accordance with Bauer’s quality procedures and in accordance with warehouse procedures.\nExamine and unpack incoming shipments, record shortages, and process damaged items accordingly.\nProcess goods receipts in ERP (Made2Manage) system.\nProperly label all incoming material.\nExpedite and coordinate delivery of “RUSH” items.\nCoordinate the stocking of received items.\nCommunicate discrepancies with purchasing and inventory control groups.\nMaintain Missing Parts List (MPL) on inbound material.\nAssisting in inventory issues as Receiving Lead deems necessary.\nOperate a forklift and other equipment to unload materials, move materials, and deliver materials throughout the plant.\nUnload trucks using a forklift.\nMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations.\nEnsure relevant receiving paperwork (i.e., packing slips) are stored accordingly.\nEnsures received material is secure and ready for next routing in accordance with established processes\nPerforms other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit\nRegular and reliable attendance.\nESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.\nA minimum of two (2) years of experience in a warehouse environment which includes receiving and purchasing experience.\nAbility of operate a forklift or the ability to successfully complete forklift certification for operation within 30 days of employment.\nAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs safely\nComputer experience with MS Office (Excel and Outlook) with an ability to learn and utilize the ERP system proficiently.\nMust be detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize demands.\nMust possess a sense of urgency and drive to deliver results on an individual and team level.\nMust possess basic math skills.\nSolid verbal and written communication skills.\nVALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nExperience with Made2Manage (M2M) a plus.\nREPORTING TO THIS POSITION\nNo direct reports.\nPERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE):\nSteel-toed boots\nSafety glasses\nHearing protection (if required in certain circumstances)\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
