We’re at the forefront of change in our industry, making innovative use of technology and realising the potential of Out of Home media.\nWe’re looking for a Technical Graphic Designer to support our Planning Team and wider Portfolio Department, producing the technical drawings and visual materials that help bring our advertising locations to life.\nWhat you’ll be doing…\nAs our Technical Graphic Designer, you’ll prepare accurate, high-quality plans, drawings and visualisations to accompany applications for advertisement consent and planning permission.\nWorking closely with the Planning Team and colleagues across the Portfolio Department, you’ll translate site information and product details into clear, consistent application materials. Your work will help demonstrate proposed advertising installations within their surroundings and support the development of new and existing locations.\nYou’ll also be responsible for:\nPreparing location plans and site plans, clearly identifying application boundaries, proposed installations and relevant surrounding features.\nProducing product elevation drawings that accurately illustrate dimensions, positioning and appearance.\nPreparing product specification documents using approved technical information supplied by relevant colleagues and suppliers.\nCreating realistic mock-ups and photomontages showing proposed advertising installations in their intended settings.\nUsing current industry-standard plan-production, drafting and image-editing software to produce professional, consistent outputs.\nChecking drawings and visual materials for accuracy, appropriate scale, clarity and consistency before passing them to the Planning Team.\nUpdating drawings and supporting materials in response to design changes, internal feedback or requests for additional information from local authorities.\nWorking with Portfolio and Construction colleagues to obtain the photographs, measurements and technical information needed to complete each brief.\nMaintaining organised drawing files, templates and revision records so that colleagues can readily identify the latest approved documents.\nManaging multiple requests and agreeing priorities with the Planning Team to meet application deadlines.\nHelping improve drawing templates and production processes to support efficient, consistent delivery.\nWho are you?\nYou’ll combine strong technical drawing skills with a keen visual eye and excellent attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable interpreting measurements, photographs and product information, turning them into clear plans and realistic visualisations.\nYou’ll be organised, practical and collaborative, with the confidence to clarify a brief, identify missing information and keep colleagues informed of progress. You’ll take pride in producing accurate work while managing competing deadlines.\nYou’ll need:\nExperience producing technical drawings, scaled plans and supporting visual materials in a professional setting.\nProficiency in current industry-standard AutoCAD drawing package or equivalent plan-production software.\nExperience using Promaps\nExperience using image-editing and graphic-design software to create mock-ups and photomontages.\nThe ability to interpret site measurements, technical specifications and product drawings accurately.\nA sound understanding of drawing scales, dimensions, layout and presentation.\nStrong organisational skills, including effective file management and version control.\nIt would also be helpful to have:\nExperience preparing drawings for planning permission or advertisement consent applications.\nFamiliarity with local authority requirements for location plans, site plans and elevations.\nExperience within Out of Home advertising, architecture, planning, construction or a related design environment.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nSalary is £40,000 - £45,000 DOE plus 10% annual bonus\nWorking hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm\nHybrid working arrangements: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home \nEnjoy 25 paid holidays, plus those well need bank holidays! \nCompany Pension Scheme Contribution of up to 8% \nStay healthy with our Healthcare Cash Plan \nLife Insurance and group income protection scheme\nCycle to Work Scheme + Enjoy travel/season ticket loans and exclusive discounts with hundreds of retailers \nMake a difference with our charity volunteer days.
