Digital Transformation Manager

To strengthen our Group IT organization, we are looking for an experienced Information Security & Digital Transformation Manager on the location in The Czech Republic

In this role, you will combine two key responsibilities:

• Lead and continuously develop information security across the BAUMANN Group
• Manage strategic IT projects in the areas of security, infrastructure and cloud technologies

You will work closely with Group IT, external partners, plant management and executive management to ensure a secure and modern IT landscape supporting our global business operations.
As part of a lean and highly collaborative Global IT team, this role requires a hands-on mentality and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach. We are looking for someone who is not only able to define strategies and policies, but who is also willing to actively drive initiatives, coordinate implementations, and support the successful execution of projects across the organization.

Responsibilities

Information Security

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the BAUMANN Group Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Define and maintain information security policies, standards and guidelines
• Project manager for the TISAX rollout
• Drive compliance with TISAX, customer security requirements and internal security standards
• Conduct risk assessments and coordinate mitigation measures
• Lead information security awareness and training activities
• Coordinate and support internal and external information security audits
• Manage security incidents and coordinate investigations and corrective actions
• Collaborate with Data Protection, external SOC providers and relevant stakeholders
• Prepare regular security status reports and management dashboards for executive management
• Monitor cybersecurity trends, threats and regulatory requirements

IT Project Management

• Plan, lead and deliver international IT projects in the areas of:

- Cyber Security

- AI
- Infrastructure
- Cloud Services
- Microsoft 365

• Define project scope, schedules, budgets and resource plans
• Coordinate internal teams and external service providers
• Manage project risks, dependencies and stakeholder communication
• Ensure successful implementation and user adoption of new technologies
• Support IT strategy initiatives and digital transformation programs
• Develop business cases and project proposals for management approval
• Ensure project documentation and governance standards are maintained

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in information security, IT infrastructure or cloud environments
• Experience managing medium to large IT projects in international organizations
• Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, TISAX or similar)
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and modern infrastructure technologies
• Experience working with external service providers and managed security services
• Strong hands-on mentality with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business value
• Comfortable working in a lean international IT organization where flexibility and personal initiative are essential
• Ability to take ownership and drive topics independently from concept through implementation
• Team player with a collaborative working style and a willingness to actively contribute beyond traditional role boundaries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Nice to Have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications
• Experience in manufacturing environments
• Experience with TISAX and automotive industry requirements
• Experience with Azure cloud security, Microsoft Defender and Security Operations
