Be a part of a culture that doesn't just wait for change but actively creates it-where your skills and values drive our collective progress and impact.\nPURPOSE OF JOB\n\nDevelop and implement local Procurement policy\nLead all indirect procurement activities for Korea, driving strategic sourcing, supplier management, governance, compliance and cost optimization while partnering with commercial and corporate functions to support business growth and operational excellence.\n(Key Category Commercial/Marketing, Digital, Logistics, Professional Services, HR, Facilities and General Service)\nImprove business efficiency and deliver saving while keeping compliance monitoring\n\nKEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\n Strategic Sourcing & Cost OptimizationDeliver annual savings targets for Spend in scope (One time and P&L)\nCategory strategies and sourcing roadmaps for different indirect spend\n\nVendor Qualification & Vendor ManagementCultivate relationships with internal business partners and execute supplier relationship management to ensure operational success\nDevelop and manage local preferred suppliers on strategic Level\nLead contract negotiation and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance, favorable commercial terms and risk mitigation.\n\nProcurement Governance & ComplianceRepresent Procurement for the Country acting as Business Partner for Local Leadership team and Commercial Teams\nPerform Spend Analysis and baseline analysis to effectively communicate data to internal customers and upper management\nReceive vendor escalations and appropriately resolve disputes as needed\n\nTender & Bidding ManagementLead RFPs, RFIs, and direct negotiations for goods, services, and technology\nEnsure objective and well-documented vendor selection processes, and Maintain procurement documentation and bidding records\nSupport transparent and compliant procurement decision-making\nReview single-source justifications and procurement exceptions\n\nVendor Risk Monitoring & Ethical ProcurementMonitor for potential conflicts of interest or inappropriate vendor relationships\nIdentify unusual purchasing patterns, pricing irregularities, or process circumvention risks\nSupport ethical procurement practices and reinforce procurement integrity\nCollaborate with Compliance, Finance, and leadership on procurement-related risk mitigation\n\n Procurement Process ImprovementWork with team to develop and implement local Procurement policy and deliver necessary training and update\nLead the contract redlining process to ensure a project moves from ideas to fully executed contract and purchase order\n\nRequirements\nBachelor and above\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)\nMinimum 8+ years of progressive procurement experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management and Procurement governance\nExperience in medical device, pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries is preferred.\nDeep expertise in various Indirect procurement categories and experienced in best practices purchasing tools and techniques\nStrong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nFluent in spoken and written English\nAnalytical, persuasion and creative abilities / teamwork\nExcellent communication skills within all levels of organization\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
