We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.\nHere, you will find more than just a job-you will find purpose and pride.\nJob Summary\nThe Marketing Associate Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the Front Line Care (FLC) business in Japan through strategic product marketing, market intelligence, and close collaboration with Global Marketing.\nWorking closely with the FLC Business Lead, this role supports new product introductions, product lifecycle management, and commercialization activities. By providing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market analysis, the Marketing Associate Manager ensures that business decisions are data-driven and aligned with market needs.\nThis position acts as the voice of the Japanese market within Global Marketing, shaping portfolio development and ensuring strategies resonate locally. The role also includes Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement, congress planning, scientific marketing, communications, and sales enablement through training and marketing tools.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nProduct Marketing\nDevelop and execute marketing plans aligned with the FLC business strategy.\nSupport product lifecycle management and new product launches in collaboration with Global Marketing and cross-functional teams.\nPrepare launch materials, campaigns, and portfolio development plans.\nIdentify new business opportunities and contribute to portfolio expansion.\nGlobal Marketing Collaboration\nServe as the primary liaison with Global Marketing for product activities.\nProvide customer feedback and market insights from Japan.\nAdapt global strategies and promotional materials for the Japanese market.\nParticipate in product launch planning and global marketing meetings.\nMarket Research\nConduct market research to capture customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.\nGather insights through customer visits and field activities.\nAnalyze sales and market data to support strategic decisions.\nDeliver regular market reports and presentations.\nKOL and Marketing Activities\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.\nSupport congresses, exhibitions, educational events, and marketing programs.\nDevelop marketing materials and sales tools.\nContribute to clinical and scientific marketing initiatives.\nSales Support\nProvide product training and marketing support for sales teams and distributors.\nDevelop sales tools and customer presentation materials.\nSupport promotional campaigns and product launches.\nBusiness Support\nPrepare monthly marketing reports and updates.\nSupport forecasting, pricing analysis, and marketing projects.\nCollaborate with Sales, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and other internal teams to achieve business objectives.\nOther Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and healthcare requirements.\nMaintain knowledge of the Medical Device Fair Trade Code and relevant regulations.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the marketing organization.\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.\nTravel domestically and internationally as required.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the FLC Business Lead.\nReporting Structure\nReports to: FLC Business Lead\nWorks closely with: Global Marketing, Sales, cross-functional teams, Key Opinion Leaders, distributors, healthcare professionals\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required\nMinimum 5 years of experience in medical device marketing, product management, or commercial functions\nExperience supporting new product launches or commercialization activities preferred\nExperience conducting market research and competitive analysis\nExperience working with healthcare professionals, distributors, or dealer networks\nExperience supporting congresses, KOL engagement, or scientific marketing activities preferred\nIntermediate English proficiency preferred; business-level proficiency is a plus\nWillingness to travel domestically and internationally\nQualifications and Skills\nStrong background in product marketing, market research, or related commercial functions\nAnalytical mindset with strong project management skills\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Global Marketing and cross-functional teams\nBusiness-level English communication skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)\nSelf-motivated, customer-focused, and results-oriented\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nTeam player with a proactive attitude and high level of integrity\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
