We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.\nHere, you will find more than just a job-you will find purpose and pride.\nThe CNC Operator III performs a variety of machining operations utilizing both manual and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, including vertical machining centers, turning centers, and other precision machine tools. This role is responsible for producing high-quality parts while adhering to established safety, quality, and productivity standards.\nEssential Responsibilities\nWork from engineering drawings, specifications, and written or verbal instructions.\nRead and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements and product specifications.\nPreset and verify tooling using tool measuring equipment.\nMonitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and production standards.\nOperate a variety of machining equipment within the department, including CNC and manual machine tools.\nUse precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and drop gauges.\nInspect finished components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.\nIdentify and report equipment malfunctions, material defects, process issues, and other unusual conditions to the Group Leader or Supervisor.\nMaintain compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.\nMaintain established quality standards and follow all applicable quality system procedures.\nComplete and maintain required production records, documentation, and reports.\nKeep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in safe working condition.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.\nRegularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds; assistance is required for loads exceeding 50 pounds.\nSupport department objectives by performing other duties as assigned.\nWork overtime as needed to meet business requirements, in accordance with company policy.\nWhat You'll bring:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.\nDemonstrated experience operating CNC machining equipment, including setup, tool changes, and troubleshooting.\nProficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $52,800-72,600 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
