As a Connected Solutions Technician, you’ll ensure critical healthcare technologies operate reliably-helping clinicians deliver safe and effective treatment.\nSchedule Requirement: This position follows a 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM shift, and employees are required to work onsite five days per week.\nYour Team\nYou will support and train field service technicians and other CSTs on advanced systems and service procedures.\nThis role operates across hospital environments and service centers, supporting both installed systems and new deployments.\nYou’ll work with technologies spanning medical devices, network infrastructure, and connected care platforms.\nBaxter offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, parental leave, and additional benefits.\nWhat you'll be doing\nPerform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic medical equipment\nDiagnose and resolve issues with network-connected devices, including servers and PoE switches\nMaintain and configure computer and network equipment post-install (systems, peripherals, configurations)\nPlan and execute preventive maintenance and service schedules across assigned customers\nPerform in-field depot-level repairs on internal mechanical and electrical components\nUtilize OEM service documentation for root cause analysis and corrective actions\nSupport product installations, system implementations, and configuration activities\nParticipate in on-call service support as scheduled\nWhat you'll bring\n5+ years of hands-on experience servicing medical devices\nExperience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and networked systems\nKnowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP and connected device environments\nExperience troubleshooting PoE switches, servers, and connected systems\nValid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements\nAssociate degree or technical/trade certification in a related field preferred\nCertifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSE, or MCSA preferred\nExperience working with FDA-regulated medical devices preferred\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $56,000 - $77,000.The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
