Join us and be part of a team that strives for outstanding outcomes and world-class solutions.\nWhat you'll be doing!\nDevelop and improve plastic processes to meet quality standards and at the lowest possible cost.\nSupport transferred projects from other facilities to be implemented in the plastic area.\nSupport to corporate plastic projects as needed.\nSupport in detailed analysis of the process and data to establish situations and root causes. Elaborate, review and keep updated operational procedures and manufacturing sequences of plastic parts align with internal and external regulations.\nPurchases and develops equipment, machine, tools, and fixtures needed for the injection molding and extrusion processes.\nCollaborate with internal and external teams to maintain plastic equipment and identify quality issues.\nSupport the “Process Production Data Collection” system and suggest actions towards process improvements.\nPerform and assist in the implementation of appropriate process changes.\nPerform process validations using Local or external engineering resources.\nUse Project Management principles and fundamentals to all process’s changes.\nProvide support to the Quality Improvement Plans to focus on preventive quality.\nAssist Local and Divisional engineering project activities under supervision.\nImplement small scope Value Improvement Projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Haina plant MIP program.\nSupport non-conformance investigation and audits items as applicable.\nSupport new members of the plastic team during the onboarding process.\nWhat you'll bring!\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering.\nFully computer knowledge (MS package, MS Project).\n3 years of experience in Injection Molding.\nKnowledge of software packages (Intranet, Power Point, Excel, etc).\nProblem Solving.\nOrderly, dynamic and responsible.\nAbility to work under pressure.\nAbility to handle ambiguity.\nCommunication skills.\nProject Management.\nUniversal molding certification of RJG (preferred).\nBilingual (Spanish and English) Oral and Writing.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
