We are looking for someone who understands automated equipment and is confident using system information, controls and technical data to diagnose faults.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nYou will:\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated production equipment\nDiagnose electrical, mechanical and automation-related faults\nWork with PLC-controlled machinery and control systems\nSupport robotics, sensors, drives, motors and control panels\nInterpret electrical schematics and technical data\nSupport equipment installations, upgrades and automation projects\nUse Maximo and other digital engineering systems to record maintenance activity\nIdentify reliability improvements and opportunities to reduce downtime\nWork closely with production and engineering colleagues across site\nWhat we’re looking for\nYou may currently be working as a: Automation Engineer | Controls Engineer | Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer | Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Field Service Engineer\nWe are looking for experience in areas such as:\nAutomated production or industrial equipment\nPLC-controlled machinery\nElectrical fault-finding\nControl panels, sensors, motors and drives\nRobotics or automation systems\nReading electrical schematics\nDigital maintenance and engineering systems\nPneumatics and hydraulics\nManufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, pharmaceutical, logistics automation or another highly automated environment\n\nYou do not need to be an advanced PLC programmer, but you should be comfortable understanding how PLC-controlled equipment operates and using information from the system to support fault diagnosis.\nWork with leading automation technology\nYou will gain further exposure and development across:\nABB robotics\nFANUC robotics\nStäubli robotics\nLobo\nAutomated production systems\nWhat we offer\nStarting salary of £55,166.49\nPremium overtime rates\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nUp to 8% pension contribution\nSubsidised canteen\nWestfield healthcare\nEmployee discount scheme\nEmployee assistance programme\nStrong internal progression opportunities\nTechnical and robotics training\nIf you are an engineer who enjoys automation, troubleshooting and understanding how complex equipment works, this is an opportunity to develop your skills in a modern manufacturing environment with real purpose.\nThank you for being so interested in Baxter, and we look forward to discussing this role with you!\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
