If you are driven, skilled, and ready to tackle challenging tasks, we invite you to apply!\nJob Responsibilities\nSupport plant production by performing repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.\nTroubleshoot equipment containing electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.\nRebuild and modify production machines and components to support technology improvements and control parts cost.\nSupport the installation of manufacturing equipment.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and electrical test instruments relating to control circuits.\nDirectly support PMT, TPM, Lean Maintenance, and Lean Energy activities through team membership, innovative thinking, and completion of assigned projects.\nAct as a resource for manufacturing operator skill training and help develop area MIT abilities.\nApply precision maintenance workmanship in all preventive, corrective, and project activities.\nAnalyze machine failures for root cause and recommend corrective actions.\nAssist in annual equipment inspections.\nApply developing technical skills and process knowledge to solve troubleshooting situations.\nAssist senior technicians, principal technicians, lead technicians, and technologists in complex troubleshooting situations.\nUnderstand how to apply PLC inputs/outputs for troubleshooting.\nUse drawing packages and multi-meters to determine electrical issues.\nDiagnose mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup issues.\nSupport the creation of standard procedures for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers.\nCollaborate with engineers, technologists, vendors, and equipment suppliers on equipment projects.\nSupport technologists or engineers on the floor and assist other supporting groups.\nCollaborate with engineers, technologists, and quality personnel to approve new equipment, which may involve traveling with overnight stays for factory acceptance and training.\nCarefully maintain Maximo work orders and complete all essential quality records.\nReview spare part inventory items in relation to Maximo work orders.\nUnderstand criteria requiring SR and other equipment-related documentation.\nNotify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, or discrepancy issues occur.\nSustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.\nLearn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, established guidelines, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).\nRequired Qualifications/Certifications\nAssociate’s degree in a technical field preferred; High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance, or equivalent technical experience required.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to individually lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nCapability to bend/stoop, squat, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck and waist, and balance.\nStandard visual acuity, including the capacity to differentiate colors.\nOther Duties\nThe job description is not built to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The salary range for this position is $46,400.00 - $58,000.00. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
