Work on production machines, motors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, boilers, ovens, electrical controls, and power distribution equipment to help keep operations running safely and efficiently.\nYour Team\nYou will be part of the Maintenance team and work closely with Production Operators, Engineers, Supervisors, and outside service providers. The team works together to solve equipment issues, improve reliability, and support a safe and productive work environment.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nFix, maintain, and install equipment across the facility to keep operations running smoothly.\nUse wiring diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and other instructions to identify and solve equipment problems.\nComplete routine preventive maintenance to help prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.\nFind and repair electrical problems, including replacing faulty parts when needed.\nRepair and maintain mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.\nCreate or update wiring diagrams and maintenance records to support future repairs.\nOrder and track parts and supplies needed for maintenance work and recommend important spare parts to keep on hand.\nRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime.\nWork with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and service technicians to troubleshoot and repair equipment.\nSupport the installation of new equipment and help improve existing equipment.\nParticipate in team meetings and help solve equipment and production issues.\nCommunicate equipment concerns, repair updates, and improvement ideas with supervisors and team members.\nRecord maintenance activities and equipment information accurately.\nHelp train and support operators and team members when needed.\nIdentify potential equipment problems, safety concerns, or production interruptions and recommend solutions.\nKeep work areas clean, organized, and safe.\nFollow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nTwo-year technical college education or equivalent experience.\n Experience working with: Motors, conveyors, and pumps, Hydraulics and pneumatics, Electrical systems and controls, Basic PLC troubleshooting and fault finding, Preventive maintenance programs, CMMS systems such as Maximo\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nMust be able to pass the Grade 4 Maintenance Test.\nPhysical Requirements\nTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to:\nStand and walk for most of your shift.\nFrequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach while working on equipment.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.\nLift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Heavier items may require assistance or lifting equipment.\nClimb ladders, stairs, and platforms as needed.\nWork in tight or confined spaces when performing maintenance tasks.\nRead blueprints, schematics, gauges, and computer screens.\nDistinguish colors for electrical wiring and components.\nWork around moving machinery, electrical equipment, and manufacturing processes while following all safety requirements.\nWork in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, oils, and other industrial conditions.\nWear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nWorking Conditions\nManufacturing and production environment.\nMay require overtime, weekend work, or call-ins to support equipment repairs and production needs.\nRegular exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and industrial equipment while following established safety procedures.\nApplicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. To that end, this position has a salary pay rate of $30.08, plus shift differential for off shifts.
