This position is an extension of the local country FP&A team. This position interacts with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) leadership team as well as in-country finance and business partners within the Americas Region (i.e. United States, Canada and Latin America).\nThis position will support the planning process, annual budgeting and forecasting processes and monthly performance reviews. You will have the responsibility and privilege of translating vast amounts of data into relevant insights that help teams learn and adapt along the way!\nWhat you'll be doing\nWe liaise with the other cross-functional leads for the purpose of facilitating the creation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality / control requirements\n\nWe coordinate closely with local country business partners and finance teams to review projections, budgets and historical results\n\nWe load budget and forecast adjustments into system for your Country/business\n\nWe ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, balance sheet reviews, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation\n\nWe deliver a comprehensive monthly reporting package for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost center owners\n\nWe perform any necessary resource allocations to ensure effective ROI on investments\n\nWe partner with FP&A Regional, Local, and Corporate resources within commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to understand, drive and support decision making ensuring alignment with strategic objectives\n\nWe coordinate handling of partner concerns and advise Finance leadership of potential business and / or operational risks\n\nWe perform strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess business performance and facilitate decision making and business support\n\nWe update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures as needed\n\nWe support Finance leadership with improvement in execution, policy development, and / or strategic\n\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required. Degree must be completed at the time of application\nDemonstration of key finance proficiencies and qualifications and typically 6+ years of confirmed experience with financial planning and reporting\n\nEnglish C1 is a requirement\n\nKnowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos preferred\n\nStrong Power Point and Excel skills\n\nStrong presentations skills\n\nSelf-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities\n\ninitiatives (e.g., business systems, processes, and / or policies)\n\nShould be able to bring to bear Copilot to improve efficiency\n\nPosition will have direct responsibility to support the Canada Cluster interacting and delivering presentations and analysis that provide high benefit to Senior Levels\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
