Where your purpose accelerates our mission.\nAbout this Role:\nThe Portfolio Manager will play a critical role in driving global sustaining activities for Baxter’s Clinical Nutrition Solutions portfolio. This position serves as the Marketing Lead on the Product Core Team and will partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of operational processes, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across the portfolio’s lifecycle.\nThis individual will combine strong analytical capabilities, operational acumen, and cross-functional collaboration skills to enhance inventory management, optimize marketing asset utilization, and support long-term portfolio sustainability. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable influencing across multiple levels of the organization.\nCritical responsibilities include:\nProduct Core Team Leadership\nServe as the Marketing Lead on the global Product Core Team for the Clinical Nutrition Solutions portfolio.\nRepresent marketing perspectives in cross-functional discussions, ensuring alignment with commercial, supply chain, regulatory, and R&D stakeholders.\nSupport global product lifecycle planning, including sustaining activities, label changes, and supply continuity initiatives.\nOperational Excellence & Sustaining Portfolio Support\nLead global sustaining marketing activities, including change control assessments, commercial readiness reviews, and stakeholder communication.\nMonitor ongoing product performance, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support commercial teams.\nPartner with Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, timely updates to marketing assets, customer-facing materials, and product documentation.\nInventory Management & Data-Driven Insights\nSupport global efforts to reduce slow-moving and no-moving inventory through proactive analysis and cross-functional collaboration.\nAnalyze global demand, historical trends, and supply signals to recommend actions that mitigate supply risk and improve service levels.\nTranslate data insights into clear recommendations for commercial planning, demand forecasting, and product allocation strategies.\nMarketing Asset Lifecycle & End-of-Life Strategy\nCreate and execute structured end-of-life strategies for marketing assets impacted by product, regulatory, or labeling changes.\nLead planning and governance processes for retiring outdated content and ensuring seamless transition to updated assets.\nDevelop asset tracking mechanisms to support compliance, accuracy, and efficient use of marketing materials.\nProcess Improvement & Operational Innovation\nIdentify opportunities to streamline and modernize marketing operations workflows.\nDevelop and implement process enhancements that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase execution speed.\nSupport standardization of global marketing processes, templates, and tools to drive scalability and efficiency.\nSystems & PIM Governance\nServe as the subject-matter expert for product code set-up, configuration, and lifecycle management within the PIM system.\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory, commercial, and operational requirements.\nPartner with IT and functional teams to identify automation or process-improvement opportunities.\nYou are good at:\nAnalytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Able to synthesize complex data into meaningful insights that drive decisions.\nDetail-Oriented & Operational Rigor: Thrives in detail-heavy processes with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nCollaboration & Influence: Builds strong relationships and effectively partners across functions and geographies\nStrategic Agility: Connects operational activities to broader business objectives and long-term portfolio strategy.\nAdaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change within a dynamic global environment.\nExecution: Demonstrates strong follow-through and operational discipline; able to translate plans into actionable steps and deliver high-quality outputs on time in a fast-paced environment.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.\n3+ years of experience in marketing operations, commercial operations, product management, or related analytics/operations role.\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), and quantitative analysis.\nExperience working in cross-functional teams and managing complex operational workflows.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.\nPreferred:\nExperience in healthcare, supply chain and project management methodologies is a plus.\nFamiliarity with global supply chain or demand planning processes.\nKnowledge of compliant marketing asset management in a regulated environment.\nSuccess working in matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholder groups.\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €44 800.00 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change.
