This role functions as the site's CFO, providing financial leadership and operational decision support across the plant’s end-to-end supply chain.\nThe Jayuya facility represents approximately $144 million in annual production value, $13 million in inventory, and $8.5 million in annual capital spending, supporting a workforce of nearly 800 employees. As a member of the Site Leadership Team, you will play a key role in helping the plant achieve its financial, operational, and strategic objectives while ensuring strong governance and compliance.\nThis is an onsite role based in Jayuya, Puerto Rico.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nServe as the primary finance leader and business partner for the Jayuya manufacturing site.\nLead financial planning activities, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, long-range plans, and monthly close processes.\nEnsure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and Baxter financial policies and maintain ownership of the site's financial records, including the P&L and balance sheet.\nProvide timely and accurate reporting of financial performance, business trends, risks, and opportunities to plant and finance leadership.\nPartner with operations leaders to improve manufacturing performance, manage variances, optimize working capital, and drive profitability.\nSupport capital planning and ensure capital investments are delivered on time and within budget.\nIdentify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and value creation through continuous improvement initiatives.\nInfluence and develop financial acumen across both finance and non-finance teams while collaborating with matrix partners across FP&A, Global ISC, COEs, and shared services.\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.\n7+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, supply chain finance, plant finance, or a related finance leadership role.\nStrong knowledge of standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, inventory management, and financial analysis.\nExperience working in a global, matrixed organization and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.\nProven ability to drive change, implement process improvements, and deliver business results.\nStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and challenge leaders at multiple levels of the organization.\nExperience partnering closely with manufacturing and operations leaders to support business performance and decision-making.\nLean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement experience preferred.\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $112,000 -$154,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
