This includes equipment that supplies critical and emergency utilities for manufacturing areas and all the local support functions at the Drug Delivery and Penicillin buildings. You will take a proactive approach to safety, lead by example, and follow plant and corporate procedures related to critical facility systems, equipment, GMP, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to support reliable manufacturing operations.\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and utility systems.\nInspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems including: RTUs (Rooftop Units)\nAHUs (Air Handling Units)\nSplit systems\nExhaust fans and ventilation systems\n\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building support systems from a basic to advanced level\nPerform general facility repairs involving plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, hardware, doors, walls, ceilings, lighting, and related infrastructure as appropriate\nReplace components such as filters, belts, motors, compressors, sensors, and contactors\nRead and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and repairs\nMaintain high pressure steam and hot water boilers, controls, and associated equipment; maintain boiler and cooling tower chemical treatment program for Plant Utilities equipment.\nWhat you'll bring:\n*A candidate must not be allergic to Penicillin and Cephalosporin or their related products and minerals.\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required\n3 or more years maintenance experience preferred.\nWorking knowledge of multiple maintenance disciplines such as mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment problems systematically and perform hands-on repairs.\nAbility to safely operate common hand tools, power tools, meters, and maintenance equipment.\nAbility to interpret technical manuals, schematics, drawings, and equipment documentation.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to work independently while also functioning effectively within a maintenance team.\nPreferred Training and Experience\nAssociates degree in a technical discipline or technical degree, trade-school training, apprenticeship.\nLight machining skills not required but a plus.\nExperience within an FDA regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical-device, or healthcare environment.\nExperience working with CMMS/work-order systems.\nFormal HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other applicable trade training/certifications.\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. To that end, this position has a salary range of $52,800 to $72,600.The above range represents the expected salary range for this position.
