Plans and executes defined projects with minimal guidance while collaborating across functions.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nPlan and deliver defined software projects, including schedules, dependencies, and coordination with development and support teams.\nDesign, architect, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications, APIs, and microservices.\nDesign and implement integrations using REST APIs, WebSockets, SignalR, and real-time voice communication technologies.\nApply HIPAA-aligned security practices for data handling, authentication, voice communications, messaging, and notifications.\nDevelop clean, maintainable code and drive solutions to complex technical and performance issues.\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, users, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and architecture.\nEvaluate technical concepts and design alternatives with consideration for business objectives, cost, and product needs.\nConduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.\nMentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.\nMonitor relevant technologies and apply them where they improve product quality and competitiveness.\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience. \nStrong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to solve complex technical problems.\nProficiency in .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, and relational databases such as SQL Server.\nExperience with Azure or AWS; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React is desirable.\nStrong understanding of database design and development, including SQL Server or other relational databases.\nExperience with WebRTC, SIP, VoIP, media sessions, call signaling, or voice gateway integrations.\nExperience troubleshooting real-time voice quality, connectivity, latency, reconnection, and device compatibility issues.\nExperience building secure communication, clinical communication, messaging, or alerting applications.\nStrong written and verbal communication, collaboration skills.\nAbility to align technical solutions with business objectives and cost considerations.\nMedical-device software experience is preferred.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
