The ideal candidate is a systems-oriented Quality Engineer who understands how products and services interconnect, sees the broader product architecture, and can decompose requirements to capture use cases holistically. This hands-on role will lead the development of scalable C#/.NET frameworks, establish CI/CD quality gates, guide cross-team adoption, and resolve complex automation and testability challenges across distributed products.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nOwn the enterprise-grade automation architecture and roadmap for C#-based REST API, UI, integration, and workflow testing.\nDesign modular frameworks with reusable libraries for configuration, service clients, page or component objects, test data, parallel execution, retries, logging, reporting, and environment management.\nDefine coding standards, branching and review practices, framework governance, versioning, documentation, and contribution models.\nEstablish pipeline strategy for pull-request validation, daily smoke tests, staged regression, release qualification, and automated quality gates.\nGuide teams on automation suitability, testability, coverage modelling, risk-based selection, and reduction of flaky or low-value tests.\nLead technical reviews, proofs of concept, framework migrations, tool evaluations, and resolution of complex cross-service failures.\nDefine dashboards and metrics for coverage, reliability, execution time, defect containment, failure causes, and productivity gains.\nPartner with architecture, software, DevOps, cybersecurity, systems, and verification leaders to embed quality throughout delivery.\nMentor automation engineers and build engineering capability through reusable assets, coaching, and technical communities of practice.\nWhat you’ll bring:\nB.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n10 years of experience defining automation architecture, technical roadmaps, and engineering standards for API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nMandatory: Systems-oriented Quality Engineer with a strong understanding of how products, services, and components interconnect; able to see the broader product architecture and decompose requirements to capture use cases holistically.\nMandatory: Hands-on Automation Architect with advanced C# and .NET skills and a strong understanding of software design principles, dependency injection, concurrency, asynchronous execution, and extensible architecture.\nMandatory: Hands-on experience architecting and developing REST API automation frameworks using RestSharp.\nMandatory: Strong hands-on experience with NUnit or Selenium or playwright for test automation.\nMandatory: Working knowledge of GraphQL (GQL) and experience validating GraphQL APIs.\nMandatory: Solid understanding of test data management principles, strategies, and reusable data provisioning approaches.\nMandatory: Strong awareness of Kubernetes and containerized test environments.\nGood understanding of communication protocols, particularly SIP, and hands-on exposure to SIPp for protocol-level testing.\nExpertise in API contracts, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven integrations, databases, authentication, authorization, and service virtualization.\nDeep experience with Git, CI/CD architecture, parallel execution, automated reporting, and quality gates.\nProven ability to improve framework reliability, diagnose flaky tests, optimize execution, and drive adoption across multiple teams.\nStrong technical leadership, stakeholder communication, mentoring, and architecture decision-making skills.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Allure reporting is preferred.\nExperience with Postman is good to have.\nExperience with Azure, Docker, infrastructure-as-code, message brokers, observability platforms, and cloud-native test environments.\nExperience validating healthcare platforms, HL7/FHIR integrations, connected devices, or regulated software products.\nKnowledge of security, accessibility, performance, reliability, and resilience testing within a unified automation strategy.\nRelevant Microsoft, cloud, architecture, or testing certification is advantageous.\nKnowledge of SIP infrastructure and media components such as Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, RTPEngine, SBCs, registrars, RTP, and WebRTC.\nExperience with Azure Key Vault, Azure App Configuration, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Web PubSub, Terraform, KEDA, and container security tooling.\nFamiliarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, risk management, cybersecurity expectations, and quality systems for regulated healthcare software.\nExperience with Jira, Jama, validated toolchains, Agile/Scrum delivery, and formal release-readiness reviews.\nExperience leading a team of automation testers toward a common goal.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
