As a Process Operator within our expanding Viaflo team, you’ll combine hands-on delivery with the judgement to prioritise issues, solve problems and keep important work moving.\nDue to area expansion, we have various roles available within the Viaflo department and when interviewing you will be considered for all areas, so we are able to suggest an area which is best aligned to your skills.\nWhat we offer\nThis role is rotating shifts, Monday-Sunday between 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 which is 42 hours per week. This could look like 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 nights on, 3 nights off etc.\nWe offer a competitive rate of £12.71p/h / £27,758.64 p/a AND you will also receive a weekly shift allowance of £109.86. (salary per annum increases once full training completed)\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays**\nEmployee discount scheme\nBlue light card\nFantastic internal progression opportunities\nSubsided canteen\nWestfield healthcare\nUp to 8% pension contribution\nEmployee assistance program\nWhat you’ll be doing\nMaintains the optimum line performance throughout the shift by adjusting the machine within validated parameters\nPerforms daily and weekly cleaning of the equipment and the area\nBe actively involved in improvement programs, demonstrating a willingness to embrace new ways of working\nIdentifying quality defects and reject them as well as escalating issues to the team leader\nWork closely with colleagues across relevant functions to solve problems and keep activities moving.\nMaintain accurate records and communicate progress, risks and actions clearly.\nFollow all relevant safety, quality and compliance requirements.\nThis includes raise EHS observation cards.\nOperate within the Baxter documentation procedures (BaxU) and requirements meeting all safety quality and performance guidelines.\nRole Identifies quality defects and reject them and make appropriate corrections.\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience of working in a GMP environment (pharma, food, FMCG)\nIdentify recurring issues and contribute practical ideas that improve quality, reliability or efficiency.\nA structured approach, strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.\nThe ability to investigate problems, set priorities and follow through on actions.\nProcess Orientated - must follow set standards and ways of working\nFlexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours and adjust working hours as required by the business\nAbility to remain calm in a fast paced environment\nPunctuality is key as well as strong attendance\nGood standard of English comprehension - Able to understand written and verbal communication and speak, read, and write in English\nWell organised and task driven\nExperience using fork trucks would be advantageous but not essential\nExperience setting up and changing over machines would be advantageous but not essential.\nThis role gives you the scope of a global healthcare organisation while keeping your contribution close to the work, customers and products it supports.
