This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in the pharmaceutical industry, with full training provided.\nYou will play a key role in the preparation and inspection of compounded medicines, contributing directly to the production of high-quality healthcare products that make a real difference to patients’ lives.\nThis role is a 12 month fixed term contract with a potential to be made permanent.\nThis is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 7:00am - 3:00pm and 10:00am - 6:00pm (Monday to Friday).\nAs a Production Technician, you will:\nWork in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems\nCollaborate with a team to produce high-quality medical products\nMeet tight production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance\nCarry out environmental monitoring activities\nPerform routine quality checks throughout the compounding process\nAccurately complete and manage production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices\nSupport various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitisation\nSkills and Experience\nWhile full training is provided, the following would be advantageous:\nExperience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry\nBackground in a cleanroom, hospital, or retail pharmacy environment\nKnowledge of aseptic techniques or holding a current Aseptic Operator Qualification\nUnderstanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)\nConfidence using Windows-based computer systems\nStrong communication skills\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team\nGood time management and organisational skills\nA flexible and proactive approach to work\nClear and confident communication skills\nRespect for diversity and inclusion\nWhat are some of the benefits of working at Baxter?\nA salary of £27,000 plus a weekly shift allowance\nProfessional development opportunities\nHigh importance placed on work life balance\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
