Applications are only being considered from candidates who are willing and able to relocate to Malta for this opportunity.\nWe are looking for a Production Technician to be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous support of production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, product quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to process improvements and supports engineering initiatives while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry out maintenance activities on assigned equipment, including both corrective (breakdown) and preventive maintenance, in accordance with Baxter Procedures.\n\nSupport the Engineering team in the installation, validation, and implementation of new processes and process improvements initiatives.\n\nEnsure full compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures, policies, standards, and equipment requirements, including process-specific safety protocols.\n\nOperate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance, product quality, and adherence to production schedules.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance and production records, through the digital system, reporting equipment issues and improvement opportunities as required.\n\nPromote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards.\n\nQualifications\nFully qualified at MQF Level 4 of an Electrical/Mechanical Qualification.\n\nWireman license A and/or B would be considered an asset\n\nProven work experience as a production technician or similar role\n\nExperience with industrial manufacturing equipment\n\nUnderstanding of safety regulations and procedures\n\nGood physical condition\n\nTechnical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, manuals, and drawings\n\nExcellent troubleshooting skills\n\nAttention to detail and accuracy in work\n\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The minimum salary for this position is €24,000.00 annually, excluding allowances, overtime and bonuses.\nYour initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change.
