This open dialog builds trust within the team and helps create a better product for our customers.\nYou will conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis on raw materials, solutions, and components following approved Standard Operating Procedures and test methods in an accurate and timely manner.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAnalyze organic or inorganic compounds to determine chemical or physical properties using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry techniques.\nMaintain laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed.\nPrepare test solutions, compounds, standards or reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct tests.\nFollow laboratory safety procedures to ensure compliance with standards or to make improvements as needed.\nMonitor operational procedures in technical environments to ensure conformance to standards.\nPurchase laboratory supplies, such as chemicals.\nOperate lab equipment such as pipettes, burets, balances, hot plates, etc.\nReview samples received, logs samples, and enter data into computer database (LIMS).\nResponsible for general housekeeping of laboratory and test suites.\nSustain a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles.\nPerform routine laboratory and safety audits.\nUse sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.\nPerform advanced chemical assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of chemistry principles.\nComplete all testing, including special project/ protocol testing in a timely and appropriate manner.\nMaintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP regulations.\nInvestigate deviations and write exception documents.\nWork under minimum supervision.\nWhat you'll bring\nB.S. degree in Natural Sciences: Chemistry preferred.\nMinimum 1 years of experience in a Chemistry Laboratory or Master's Degree in Natural Sciences with relevant experience in a Chemistry Laboratory, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.\nDigital literacy/knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel).\nAttention to detail and strong organizational skills.\nMust have a basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation.\nGood documentation skills and knowledge of GDPs (Good Documentation Practices).\nAble to manage multiple tasks/priorities in a timely manner.\nFamiliarity with LIMS (or equivalent system) and TrackWise.\nMust be proficient with at least three of the following lab techniques HPLC, GC, AA, Flame Photometry, FTIR, UV-Vis Spectroscopy.\nOther Duties as Assigned\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
