Upgrade assessments require detailed knowledge of software, hardware, network design and topology, network integrations, etc.\nYour Team\nYou'll be reporting to the Remote Services Manager.\nBaxter offers a great benefits package including Healthcare Insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nLead and perform upgrades of Baxter Care Communications products. This primarily entails performing site assessments, upgrading applications on servers and proprietary devices/hardware, configuring system networks, and working with the customer’s IT team to understand other variables in their environment to complete upgrades\nDrive detailed technical discussions with internal teams and 3rd party partners regarding complex integrations as needed\nEnsure performance, quality, and reliability is validated post upgrade for all Baxter Care Communications products\nParticipate in multi-functional teams to solve and resolve complex issues\nParticipate in teams driven toward continuous process improvement\nCandidates should possess strong oral, written communication skills\nWhat you'll bring:\nBachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required or a minimum of 4 years equivalent experience in the software and/or networking fields plus two of the below certifications\nStrong collaboration and cross-functional interpersonal skills as this position consistently partners with R&D, project managers, and customers\nRequired knowledge in two or more of the following areas to support business needs:\nSQL/Scripting/Reporting Engines/Analytics (SAS Crystal, etc.)\nNetworking (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Security)\nEnterprise level hardware (Server/Client OS, SANS, RAID)\nMiddleware (Rhapsody, etc.)\nHL7\nMicrosoft Windows\nLinux, Kubernetes\nWireless - Enterprise level/managed networks\nPreferred Certifications in the following:\nCompTIA Network+, CCNA (or higher),CompTIA Security+, CompTIA, Linux+, CompTIA ITF, CompTIA A+, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or LPI Linux Essentials\nAdvanced understanding of Microsoft Windows platforms, SQL, IIS server and other networked systems.\nAdvanced understanding of deploying and supporting Linux based platforms (Kubernetes) and associated networked systems.\nDetailed knowledge of common network protocols / architecture (TCP/IP, IP routing, the OSI model, VLAN) and their relevant security issues\nDetailed knowledge of common network protocols/architecture (TCP/IP, IP routing, OSI model, VLAN, etc), client/server networking environments and standard processes, managed switches, VOIP, and network security.\nKnowledge of WiFi wireless technologies with security protocols\nBasic VoIP and/or PBX telephony knowledge and basic configuration experience\nExperience configuring, setting up, and debugging Windows and Linux based systems\nBaxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
