This role combines technical problem-solving, project leadership, and process optimization to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and operational performance.\nYou will serve as a trusted engineering partner to manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams, helping to ensure processes are scalable, compliant, and capable of meeting business and customer needs. Through your work, you will directly contribute to operational excellence and support Baxter's mission of improving outcomes for patients worldwide.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead the transfer and integration of manufacturing processes from other Baxter facilities, ensuring successful implementation, validation, and operational readiness.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, improve first-pass yield, reduce scrap, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.\nDesign, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, inspection equipment, and process improvements that support safe and efficient production.\nAnalyze manufacturing data, identify performance trends, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and operational results.\nPlan and support manufacturing capacity strategies, including equipment, labor, space utilization, and maintenance considerations to meet business demands.\nLead or contribute to process validation activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and related verification efforts, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with suppliers, operations, quality, and cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and successfully execute engineering projects.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\n3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, process transfer, or continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.\nExperience leading validation of end-to-end manufacturing processes.\nExperience with IQ/OQ/PQ methodologies is highly desired.\nDemonstrated ability to identify manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nExperience working cross-functionally with operations, quality, suppliers, and technical stakeholders to deliver business results.\nStrong project management, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.\nEffective communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance, influence stakeholders, and lead project activities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience within the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.\nKnowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485, CAPA processes, and quality system requirements.\nExperience supporting manufacturing transfers, new product introductions, or site expansion projects.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience developing manufacturing documentation, process instructions, routings, and bills of materials.\nAbility to mentor technicians, engineers, or cross-functional team members while fostering a collaborative work environment.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
