We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.\nHere, you will find more than just a job-you will find purpose and pride.\nService Development Manager - OPAT\nLocation: Field Based, UK\nReporting to: Commercial Manager\nRole Summary\nBaxter Homecare Services is seeking a commercially driven Service Development Manager to grow our OPAT and Desferrioxamine homecare business across a high-value NHS territory.\nThis role is responsible for driving the growth of Baxter Homecare Services' OPAT business across a high-value NHS territory. The Service Development Manager will identify, develop and secure new business opportunities, expand patient access to OPAT services, and build strategic partnerships with NHS stakeholders. Working cross-functionally across commercial, clinical and operational teams, the role will deliver sustainable growth whilst ensuring excellent patient and customer outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute a territory growth plan to increase patient numbers, revenue and market share.\nBuild and manage a strong pipeline of NHS business development opportunities.\nDevelop relationships with key stakeholders including Consultants, Pharmacists, OPAT Leads, Procurement Teams and Commissioners.\nLead commercial discussions to secure new service adoption and expand existing accounts.\nAct as the primary commercial contact for OPAT homecare services within the territory.\nWork cross-functionally with Clinical, Pharmacy, Patient Services and Operations teams to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.\nPresent service performance and growth opportunities during customer review meetings.\nMonitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.\nEssential Requirements\nABPI qualified.\nProven business development or sales experience within healthcare, homecare or clinical services.\nDemonstrated success generating new business and managing a structured sales pipeline.\nExperience selling services or solutions rather than purely products.\nStrong experience working with NHS customers and navigating complex stakeholder environments.\nExcellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.\nDesirable Experience\nOPAT, infusion, homecare or broader clinical services experience.\nKnowledge of NHS procurement and commissioning processes.\nExperience growing services within NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nGrowth in patient numbers and territory revenue.\nExpansion of Baxter's OPAT services within NHS customers.\nA healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.\nStrong, trusted relationships with key NHS stakeholders.\nContinued market share growth through service-led selling and customer partnership.\nWhat are some of the benefits of working at Baxter?\nCompetitive total compensation package\nProfessional development opportunities\nHigh importance placed on work life balance\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
