This is where your technical skills help ensure critical healthcare equipment is restored to proper working conditions and returned to customers safely and efficiently. Working within the Product Service Depot, you will follow established quality and safety procedures while supporting the inspection, repair, processing, and shipment of medical devices.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and software updates on medical devices.\nConduct functional, safety, and performance testing using diagnostic and measurement equipment.\nUtilize tools and test equipment such as digital multimeters, safety analyzers, patient simulators, power supplies, and torque wrenches.\nDocument service findings, test results, maintenance activities, and repair actions within the designated systems of record.\nFollow Quality Management System requirements, standard work instructions, and established service procedures.\nDiagnose device malfunctions, determine root causes, and escalate issues requiring additional technical support.\nDisassemble, assemble, inspect, package, and prepare medical devices for shipment using appropriate tools and equipment.\nSupport depot operations as needed, including receiving, disinfection, reprocessing, spare parts activities, and shipment preparation.\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nAbility to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.\nExperience using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and assembly equipment.\nBasic knowledge of test and measurement equipment, including digital multimeters and power supplies.\nComputer proficiency for entering service data, maintaining records, and navigating multiple software applications.\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.\nAbility to lift up to 40 pounds and operate material handling equipment as required.\nAbility to work with cleaning and disinfecting solutions and handle returned medical devices in accordance with established procedures.\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $44,800 - $61,600. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
