Leads cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, Finance, Logistics, and Suppliers to support production requirements, mitigate supply risks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and achieve business goals through effective use of ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision making. Manages Customer orders (IPSO) and communications. Follow up, lead, or implement projects related to MIP or process improvements. Purchases assigned materials, equipment, and supplies while optimizing inventory and production capabilities.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nPerform the required activities to complete the purchasing cycle (as required by Rapid Response analysis) of all assigned materials by specifying quality revisions (when applicable), communicating transportation logistics, indicating ship dates, expediting as needed to have materials ready to support manufacturing operations.\nMaintaining Inventory and turns goals within planned expectations. Perform any required changes to achieve goals successfully.\nExecute planning process to maintain required inventory. Partner with warehouse traffic or logistics to assure resolution products or materials are delivered to site.\nMonitor the Purchase Price Variance for the assigned parts and develop a strategy to eliminate or minimize any negative effect.\nControl all In-Bound freight expenses by complete adherence to the latest published Baxter traffic routing guide. Monitor reports for any deviations.\nProvide accurate information on all purchases, stock or inbound materials to operations or end user.\nWork with supplier quality on any quality related issues for incoming materials. Perform necessary actions to avoid impact to operations.\nConduct routine meetings with key suppliers or customers in order to review each one’s performance, based on quality of goods, unit price, transportation logistics adherence, delivery date compliance and cost reduction opportunities.\nParticipation in the annual contract review and yearly open orders negotiation as required.\nCoordination of any defective materials returns to supplier in an effective and quick manner.\nMaintain accurate purchasing files for all active orders, including logs (when applicable).\nComply with all the applicable Baxter Corporate Purchasing Guidelines.\nPrepare analysis reports on shortage and supplier delivery non-compliance conditions.\nPrepare reports on monthly purchasing and planning activity including estimated saving /cost avoidance.\nParticipate on MRB meetings and report on excess and obsolescence risks, excess inventory and applicable branch plant inventory.\nDevelop excellent business relationships with all key suppliers or customers.\nPerform the required activities to complete the daily/monthly/yearly planning cycle for all assigned products.\nMaintain required planning parameters.\nPerform capacity analysis as required and provide volumes to stakeholders as required.\nMeet service and inventory targets.\nResponsible for conducting EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards and environmental \naspects. Follow the EHS applicable procedures, and analyze EHS incidents (including near misses) to find causes and take corrective action.\nManage projects of a complex nature, identify resources needed and develop project plan\nObserve data privacy and confidentiality rules.\nParticipate on Zone control meetings and perform assigned Gemba walks.\nIdentify supply chain risks including single-source suppliers, capacity constraints, transportation disruptions, and material shortages.\nDevelop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize manufacturing interruptions.\nMaintain planning and procurement master data including lead times, safety stock parameters, sourcing information, and supplier records in Rapid Response (Maestro) system.\nEnsure integrity of material planning data to support accurate MRP and purchasing outputs.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.\nMinimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, or Manufacturing Supply Chain.\nAPICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.\nExperience in ERP systems and advanced supply chain analytics is strongly preferred.\nBilingual (English and Spanish).\nStrong knowledge and experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, MRP Planning, Inventory Optimization, and supply chain analytics, leveraging tools such as Kinaxis Rapid Response and Advanced Excel to drive data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.\nDEMANDA FISICA (PHYSICAL DEMANDS):\nLight Work : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
