You will help ensure externally sourced materials consistently meet regulatory, quality, and business requirements while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.\nIn this highly collaborative role, you will work cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and supplier teams to identify risks, solve complex quality issues, improve supplier performance, and maintain compliance with global quality standards. Your success will directly contribute to product quality, operational efficiency, and patient safety.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead supplier quality performance monitoring and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality, compliance, and reliability.\nConduct and support supplier audits while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and ISO 9000 requirements. [\nPartner with suppliers to investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions. \nManage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) to ensure timely resolution and measurable improvements in supplier performance. \nProvide engineering support for nonconforming materials and supplier-related quality concerns while minimizing operational impact. \nAnalyze supplier quality metrics and communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to business and quality leaders. \nCollaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to reduce quality-related inventory issues and improve overall product flow and effectiveness.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. \nMinimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related field.\nExperience supporting or conducting supplier quality audits. \nWorking knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and ISO 9000 quality management standards. \nExperience managing SCARs, NCRs, corrective actions, and supplier follow-up activities. \nStrong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa), or similar tools. \nBilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.\nPreferred Qualifications\nISO 13485 Lead Auditor certification. \nExperience within the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing industries.\nProven ability to influence suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve quality objectives.\nStrong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.\nExperience leading supplier development or supplier quality improvement initiatives.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
