The engineer will build C#-based REST API and UI automation, integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines, analyze failures, and collaborate with verification, development, DevOps, and product teams to improve release quality.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nAnalyze product, system, interface, and software requirements and translate them into maintainable automated test scenarios.\nDevelop and maintain C# automation for REST APIs, web user interfaces, integration workflows, and regression scenarios.\nCreate reusable test utilities, data builders, service clients, page objects, assertions, and reporting components.\nValidate JSON/XML payloads, authentication and authorization, database records, event-driven integrations, negative paths, and boundary conditions.\nIntegrate automated smoke and regression suites with Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD pipelines and maintain stable daily execution.\nInvestigate failed tests using application logs, API traces, network diagnostics, database queries, and pipeline artifacts.\nMaintain requirements-to-test traceability, objective evidence, defect records, and release verification reports.\nReview automation code, improve coverage, support root-cause analysis, and mentor less-experienced engineers.\nWhat you’ll bring\nB.E/B. Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / Electrical or related field \n8+ years of relevant experience in test automation, including C#/.NET-based API and UI automation, framework development, and CI/CD integration.\nMandatory: Strong hands-on C# and .NET programming skills, including object-oriented design, asynchronous programming, exception handling, and debugging.\nProven REST API automation experience using suitable .NET libraries and test frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.\nMandatory: Hands-on UI test automation experience using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.\nMandatory: Understanding of GraphQL (GQL), including queries, mutations, schemas, and API validation.\nExperience with API contracts, HTTP methods and status codes, JSON/XML, SQL, authentication, authorization, and test-data management.\nWorking knowledge of Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, test reporting, and troubleshooting unstable automation.\nUnderstanding of risk-based testing, requirements traceability, defect management, and formal verification evidence.\nExperience in mobile application automation is a plus.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience testing microservices, Azure-hosted applications, Docker or Kubernetes deployments, message brokers, and distributed workflows.\nKnowledge of healthcare interoperability, HL7, FHIR, medical-device integrations, or regulated software verification.\nExperience with observability tools, centralized logging, API mocking, service virtualization, and automated quality gates.\nISTQB, Azure, or relevant automation certification is advantageous.\nKnowledge of SIP infrastructure and media components such as Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, RTPEngine, SBCs, registrars, RTP, and WebRTC.\nExperience with Azure Key Vault, Azure App Configuration, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Web PubSub, Terraform, KEDA, and container security tooling.\nFamiliarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, risk management, cybersecurity expectations, and quality systems for regulated healthcare software.\nExperience with Jira, Jama, validated toolchains, Agile/Scrum delivery, and formal release-readiness reviews.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
