You will partner with regional, local and corporate finance teams to consolidate financial outlooks, identify performance drivers and risks, and translate complex financial information into clear insights for senior leadership.\nWhat you’ll doing\nConsolidate financial and business insights and prepare high-quality materials for monthly business reviews, forecasts and the annual operating plan, enabling effective discussions and decisions by the leadership team.\nCoordinate and consolidate monthly sales outlooks from all commercial regions across the Mid-month, WD-4 and PNS cycles; challenge assumptions, identify changes and ensure a clear, aligned global view.\nPartner closely with in-country business partners and finance teams to review projections, budgets and historical results, challenge key assumptions and improve the quality of financial outlooks.\nLoad planning information into the financial systems (PlanIT) during every forecast process and conduct data validation checks to ensure accuracy.\nEnsure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation.\nDeliver accurate and timely monthly management reporting, including analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast, clear explanations of key drivers, and follow-up with P&L and cost-centre owners on risks and opportunities.\nPartner with regional, local and corporate FP&A teams, as well as commercial, manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders, to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations and support decisions aligned with strategic objectives.\nIdentify, assess and escalate material business and operational risks and opportunities, providing Finance leadership with timely analysis and recommended actions.\nPerform strategic and ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate business performance, investigate key drivers and develop recommendations that support management decision-making.\nUpdate process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures, as needed.\nDrive continuous improvement across FP&A reporting and planning processes by simplifying workflows, strengthening controls, improving data quality and supporting the implementation of finance systems, processes and policies.\nLiaise with the FP&A Global Delivery Center (GDC) and other cross-functional leads to support the creation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality / control requirements.\nWhat you’ll bring:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required.\nDemonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 5 + years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting.\nExpert in technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment.\nExcellent analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting.\nExcellent financial modeling skills preferred, experience in statistical modeling techniques is a plus.\nExperience with JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos preferred.\nSelf-starter with excellent analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.\nExcellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.\nExpert in PowerPoint and Excel skills.\nAbility to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally.\nAbility and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required.\nEnglish: Native or bilingual proficiency required.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
