You'll use your technical skills to identify problems, make repairs, and help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently to support production and facility operations. You will perform both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to help minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.\nYour Team\nYou will be part of the Maintenance team, a group of skilled technicians dedicated to keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with Production Operators, Supervisors, Engineers, and outside vendors to solve equipment issues, improve equipment performance, and support a safe work environment. Success in this role requires teamwork, strong communication, and a willingness to share knowledge and assist others when needed.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nRespond to maintenance and equipment issues during regular work hours, while on call, or during emergencies.\nFind the cause of equipment problems and determine the best solution.\nTake equipment apart, inspect it, repair or replace damaged parts, reassemble it, and test it to ensure it works properly.\nIdentify and order the correct replacement parts.\nWork with equipment vendors and manufacturer service technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and improve new and existing equipment.\nTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC (Numerical Control) equipment, including automatic welders, tube benders, automatic lathes, power supplies, and other electronic equipment.\nMaintain and troubleshoot robots and hydraulic press equipment.\nWork with maintenance leadership to order and maintain inventory of parts, materials, and supplies needed for repairs and preventive maintenance.\nCreate, organize, and maintain equipment documentation, including sketches, wiring diagrams, drawings, and installation instructions.\nKeep the Sr Maintenance Technician informed of work progress and any significant issues or concerns.\nParticipate in company training programs, vendor training, and industry seminars to maintain and improve technical skills.\nComplete work accurately, safely, and efficiently.\nParticipate in team meetings, problem-solving activities, and continuous improvement efforts.\nCommunicate equipment issues and solutions with team members and supervisors.\nFollow all established processes, procedures, and work instructions.\nDocument production and maintenance information when needed to help identify problems, support quality improvements, and assist with scheduling.\nTroubleshoot production and equipment issues as they arise.\nTrain and assist other employees as needed to support quality, productivity, and workflow.\nEvaluate defective materials, tooling, equipment issues, and potential production interruptions.\nRecommend solutions and alternatives to the appropriate team members.\nUse computers and communication tools as needed to perform job duties.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nFollow all safety policies and procedures.\nPerform additional duties and assignments as needed that are consistent with the responsibilities and level of the position.\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nTwo-year technical college education preferred.\n5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nHands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated production equipment.\nKnowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and equipment reliability best practices.\nExperience with CMMS software, preferably Maximo.\nAbility to perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.\nExperience supporting Yaskawa robots, laser cutting equipment, hydraulic presses, and other automated manufacturing systems.\nStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond quickly to production equipment issues.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing safety standards and regulatory requirements.\nAbility to work effectively with vendors, machine builders, and cross-functional teams.\nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nApplicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. To that end, this position has a salary pay rate of $32.03, plus shift differential for off shifts.
