This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Leadership teams to embed a culture of Operational Excellence through the Growth and Performance System (GPS) and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.\nWhat We Offer\nMedical, Dental,\nDisability, and Life Insurance Coverage\nVision Plan\nPaid Vacation Days and Paid Holidays\nPaid Parental Leave\nRetirement Plan Employee\nStock Purchase Program\nEducational Assistance Plan\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLead and support site performance improvement initiatives through the implementation of the Growth and Performance System (GPS) to achieve operational excellence maturity targets.\nPartner with site leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement projects aligned with strategic goals and business needs.\nDrive cultural transformation by promoting Lean thinking, problem-solving methodologies, and a continuous improvement mindset across all levels of the organization.\nLead Margin Improvement program (MIP) and ensure achievement of annual cost savings, efficiency, and productivity targets.\nFacilitate and coach cross-functional teams on Lean/Six Sigma tools, including root cause analysis, process mapping, and statistical problem-solving techniques.\nSupport the development and execution of the Site Strategic Plan, including goal setting, performance tracking, and governance processes.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce waste, improve cycle times, optimize production flows, and enhance manufacturing and business processes.\nDesign and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor process performance, team effectiveness, and continuous improvement progress.\nSupport the Lean Daily Management System (LDMS) to ensure consistent execution and accountability at all organizational levels.\nLead training initiatives to build Lean and Operational Excellence capabilities across the site.\nEnsure compliance with internal policies, cGMP, FDA regulations, and external standards through robust process improvements.\nCollaborate with global and divisional teams to share best practices and drive standardization efforts.\nActively support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, promoting a zero-harm workplace and ensuring adherence to all safety requirements.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.\n3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or a related environment.\nStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and managing improvement projects from concept through execution.\nSolid understanding of cGMP, FDA, and EHS regulations.\nProficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and process improvement methodologies.\nStrong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.\nBilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).\nLean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.\nUS Benefits at Baxter (except for Puerto Rico)\nThis is where your well-being matters.
