We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.\nHere, you will find more than just a job-you will find purpose and pride.\nBaxter is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gloucester on a mission to save and sustain lives through a growing portfolio of connected devices.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for providing administration, operation support and monitoring of customer facing digital health software applications and platforms deployed in the Baxter’s Azure cloud platform. You will also be responsible for defining and documenting processes to ensure that required security, privacy and other compliance standards are maintained.\nWhat you'll be doing\nDrive strategies to ensure 24x7 availability of services and business continuity for customer facing healthcare software applications and platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud.\nManage and administer Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, and networking components.\nDefine and document operating procedures to ensure required security, privacy and other compliance standards are maintained for digital solutions deployed in cloud.\nManage process, planning, and execution for Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)\nDefine and refine Operations SLAs to maintain high level of Customer Satisfaction. Establish non-functional requirements to meet SLAs.\nEstablish infrastructure and application monitoring dashboards and workflow for automatic routing of notifications.\nDefine key performance indicators that can be monitored, measured, and used to derive opportunities.\nStandardize site metrics for partners, reporting on various benchmarks including SLAs, availability, capacity utilization, service metrics and cost utilization.\nWork closely with DevOps Engineers to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)\nPrior experience in Site Reliability Engineering and cloud-based infrastructure management\nExperience in enterprise engineering, including 24x7 uptime, regulated environments, and planning/operations\nAzure administration and operations experience, with certifications a plus\nKnowledge of related technologies, including cloud, encryption, and security protocols\nSystems administration experience in Windows and Linux environments\nProven problem-solving skills and experience with scripting and automation tools\nAbility to create accurate documentation and reports, with excellent communication skills\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive Annual Salary\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Increasing with service)\nWorking hours, 37.5 p/w M-F.
