The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PySpark, Python, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, and API integrations, with experience delivering end-to-end data engineering projects from requirements gathering through production deployment.\nThe role involves building scalable data pipelines, modernizing data platforms, integrating enterprise applications, and supporting business analytics through reliable and high-performing data solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end data integration and engineering solutions.\nLead the complete project lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nBuild and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.\nDevelop robust data processing frameworks using PySpark and Python.\nDesign and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations.\nDevelop and support integrations using REST APIs and modern integration patterns.\nImplement and maintain cloud-based data solutions leveraging AWS services and Snowflake.\nEnsure data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability across data platforms.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and application teams to deliver effective data solutions.\nTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.\nFollow data governance, security, and compliance standards.\nMentor junior team members and contribute to data engineering best practices.\n\nPrimary Skills\nPySparkStrong hands-on experience in PySpark development for large-scale distributed data processing.\nExperience developing and optimizing Spark applications for high-volume data workloads.\nKnowledge of Spark DataFrames, Spark SQL, performance tuning, and cluster optimization.\nPythonStrong programming skills in Python.\nExperience building reusable frameworks, data pipelines, and automation solutions.\nKnowledge of object-oriented programming and data processing libraries.\nSQLAdvanced SQL development and performance tuning.\nStrong experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.\nGood understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles.\nAWS\nHands-on experience with AWS services including: Amazon S3 AWS Glue AWS Lambda Amazon EMR AWS Step Functions Amazon RDS Amazon CloudWatch\nStrong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.\nKnowledge of cloud-based data architecture and data lake implementations.\nData Engineering & IntegrationStrong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration patterns.\nExperience in end-to-end implementation of data engineering solutions.\nStrong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and data migration concepts.\nTools & MethodologiesGit and version control systems.\nCI/CD and DevOps practices.\nAgile and Scrum methodologies.\n\nSecondary skills\n\nInformatica PowerCenter / IICSExperience developing and supporting ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).\nKnowledge of data integration, transformation, and migration processes.\nIBM DataStageExperience with IBM DataStage development and support.\nKnowledge of Parallel Jobs, ETL workflows, performance tuning, and migration initiatives.\nExperience in ETL modernization projects is an added advantage.\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity\n\nBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
