Working together in a supportive and open culture makes our processes evolve for the better and engages our workforce.\nYou'll be offered extensive training, and the tight-knit working environment within the Manufacturing team means employees get additional training from their direct manager and peers when needed.\nWhat we offer from Day One:\nShift flexibility to trade shifts and leverage overtime opportunities\n\nMedical, Dental and Vision coverage\n\n160 hours of Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays\n\n401K match\n\nEmployee Stock Purchase Program\n\nPaid Parental Leave\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nFoster a safe work environment by ensuring team knows the cardinal rules, applying 6S principles to sustain a clean and safe work area, and regularly conduct Gemba/safety walks.\n\nSet up line for Production including having to step in and operating the equipment as needed, ensure labor efficiency and escalate staffing shortages.\n\nAlong with the supervisor, motivate, engage, recognize, and develop employees to create a positive work environment\n\nSupport supervisors in hiring manager responsibilities: interviewing, selecting, onboarding, and training new employees\n\nParticipate in Continuous Improvement, Project and Safety Teams, Lean Initiatives, Value Stream led activities and defect prevention programs\n\nReview batch documentation and records, perform preventative maintenance tasks and updating electronic records in various software applications\n\nPerform scheduled quality checks, disposition product, identify any deviations that may occur and take the appropriate action to include stopping production on the machine if necessary\n\nAssist in leading tier meetings which include a review of safety, quality and production goals\n\nLead or escalate troubleshooting activities with Quality and Maintenance personnel to resolve true root cause of non-conforming processes\n\nCommunicate with outgoing shift personnel to obtain information regarding any problems with machines, materials, etc. encountered during the previous shift\n\nInvestigate, identify and correct or escalate any inefficiency in value stream performance\n\nTake appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur\n\nLearn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent\n\nMust be at least 18 years of age\n\nMinimum 6 months of manufacturing experience and demonstrated leadership skills\n\nMust have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.\n\nUnderstand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.\n\nMust be able to perform basic mathematics\n\nPossess or be able to obtain PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) Operator Certification\n\nPossess or be able to obtain Inspector Certification\n\nSix months experience as a Sr. Material Handler, Production Technician or equivalent preferred\n\nCRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level preferred\n\nComputer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn/use enterprise software (i.e. POMS and Maximo) preferred\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nLifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.\n\nNormal visual acuity and the ability to distinguish color are necessary.\n\nOccasionally specialized physicals are required when working with certain drug codes.\n\nMust be able to pass the P.I.V. physical\n\nMust be able to squat, climb, kneel, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist and balance\n\nWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.
