If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.\nConsumables Inventory Controller\nMain Purpose:\nCoordinates the consumables and the supplying to the plant to ensure there is no downtime due to consumable supply.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities:\nLead HSE efforts according ISO 45001 and Bayer safety standards focusing on legal compliance and identifying safety risks applying the HIRA methodology\nParticipate in compiling Risk assessments and Job safety analysis\nActively record safety observation and near misses\nParticipate in 5WHY problem solving identifying corrective and preventative actions.\nAdhere to all applicable legislation, Bayer safety policies and procedures\nAdhere to requirements of legal appointments\nActively promote the Bayer safety culture and best practices\nStock monitoring and management of all the consumables\nMaintain the product quality stored in the storage areas\nEnsure that all required data is put into the information system and required reports are made on time.\nRecord all daily movements according to internal/external customer needs, safety norms and requirements.\nPrepare and document material transfers following established procedures.\nMaintain operational records as required by the QMS management & onePSS systems.\nEnsure compliance with quality assurance standards and management system set by ISO9001:2015\nManage personnel to ensure excellence in housekeeping.\nComplete documentation and report regarding stock at the warehouse in a proper and timely manner\nResponsible for the monitoring and control of inventory on a regular basis to ensure minimal variance between SAP and physical stock.\nParticipate /conduct weekly inventory stock counts\nUtilize company resources in an efficient manner in order to control cost\nComply with goals set forth for quality, reliability and cost.\nSupport the implementation of onePSS in warehouses.\nManage operations through the production system platform onePSS.\nSupport Continuous improvement.\nReceive all Consumable stock.\nCheck that the stock corresponds with the invoice.\nShould there be any deviation report to supervisor?\nCount all the stock ones a week.\nGive the count to the Logistics Coordinator every week.\nGive out the stock to the Processing.\nMake Sure Housekeeping is up to standard.\nTake control of the two assistant consumable controllers.\nTo be involve with stock counts.\nKey Working Relations:\nSeed Technicians\nOperators\nonePSS team\nMaintenance team\nProcess Engineering team\nOperations Manager\nWarehouse Manager\nQualifications & Competencies:\nMinimum Gr 12 or 2 - 3 years experience in warehouse processes and supervision\nPreferably Logistics/Warehouse Management qualification\nForklift driver certification\nInterpersonal and communication skills\nResults focused with ability to work on own initiative\nStrong teamwork (flexibility to work across the areas and positively influencing others)\nFluent in English\nEstablish clear direction and making decisions on a timely manner\nSAP proficiency will be an advantage\nAs part of our commitment to inclusion, we want to ensure persons with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations.
