This role will focus on ensuring accurate, efficient, and seamless data mapping, validation, cleansing, and coordinating with value stream leads / teams - while aligning with organizational and CORE program goals. The ideal candidate will have good experience with SAP Processes, SAP ECC and S4HANA data structures, data mapping, Cleansing and cross-functional team collaboration across different cultures\nKey Responsibilities\n\nData Mapping, Migration:\nSupport in executing entire scope of data within Business Partner (Customer & Vendor) master data\nCo-ordinate and support data migration including Prepare > Map > Enrich > Transform > Validate > Correct > Implement > Hypercare > Handover\nExecute data scoping and mapping activities from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with Value streams, business, and migration teams\nSupports verifying extraction criteria, clarity on data availability and ensuring that data migration as per data object complies with defined approach\nData Quality & Validation\nDrive data requirements and ensures that right set of data gets identified, gathered, and translated with right data quality and data integrity \nEstablish data quality criteria and oversee data cleansing activities to ensure the migration of accurate and reliable data.\nCo-ordinate the data Validation activities with business teams to ensure timely completion of data validation.\nStakeholder Collaboration:\nWork closely with Business, Value streams, functional and technical teams to understand master (Customer & Vendor) data requirements and business needs.\nAct as a liaison between business users, Value stream owners / leads and IT teams to ensure the data integrity and accuracy.\nTracks progress, pushes roadblocks. Provide regular updates to leadership on data migration, challenges, and resolutions.\nDocumentation and Compliance:\nMaintain detailed documentation of mapping rules, migration processes, and validation results.\nEnsure compliance with organizational data governance policies and SAP standards.\nRisk Management:\nIdentify potential data migration risks and develop mitigation strategies.\nExperience and Skill Set\n\nExperience:\nOverall 7+ years of experience with minimum 1+ years of experience in SAP data migration projects, preferably with a focus on S/4HANA BP master data.\nFamiliarity with data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices.\nDomain Expertise:\nComprehensive understanding of business processes across BP master data\n\nTechnical Expertise:\nProficiency in SAP ECC and S4HANA master data\nStrong expertise in Field mapping document, validation, cleansing, and transformation processes for Master and transaction data as part of S4HANA transformations\nIn-depth knowledge of SAP data structures\nPossess good knowledge in writing SQL queries\nExperienced in any data migration tools\n\nPreferred Competencies\nProven experience in managing or coordinating SAP data migration projects, preferably with SAP S/4 HANA.\nProven experience in data mapping from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA\nExcellent knowledge of relevant best practices and standards related to data migration\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams, levels and cultures.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools\n\nYOUR APPLICATION\n\nBayer is an equal opportunity employer that strongly values fairness and respect at work.
