During the internship, you will gain hands-on exposure to tax-related finance activities, work with financial data and digital tools, and collaborate with international teams.\nInternship Purpose\nTo develop practical knowledge of tax-related finance processes while supporting accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of recurring activities. The internship provides hands-on experience in data preparation, reconciliations, reporting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration within the Finance and Tax environment.\nWhat'sin it for you?\nGain hands-on experience in tax and finance processes delivered in an international environment.\n\nLearn how financial data, supporting documents, and tax-related reports are prepared and checked.\n\nReceive guidance and feedback from experienced Finance and Tax professionals.\n\nDevelop analytical, digital, communication, and problem-solving skills through real businessactivities.\n\nBuild knowledge of process documentation, controls, data quality, and continuous improvement.\n\nKey Tasks & Success Measures:\nSearch for and review documents and information related to commercial transactions, including invoices, transport documents, and product specifications.\n\nVerify that data requiredfor reporting is complete and compliant with applicable requirements.\n\nHelp resolve missing or inconsistent documentation in cooperation with the team.\n\nEnter data into the system in accordance withteam guidelines.\n\nSupport corrections to system data when errors or changes are identified.\n\nAssistwith communication with other departments to obtain the necessary information.\n\nSupport the analysis of data concerning the movement of goods.\n\nParticipate in team meetings as needed.\n\nPrepare supporting summaries and data compilations.\n\nPrepare basic reports for the company’s internal use.\n\nSupport the team’s ongoing work to align data with legal and regulatory requirements.\n\nSuccess in this internship will be measured by the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data and documentation, as well as effective collaboration, adherence to team guidelines, and continuous learning.\nWho You Are:\nMandatory active student status in Finance and Accounting, Economics, Tax, Controlling, Management, Business Administration, or a relatedfield.\n\nBasic understanding of accounting and finance; an interest in taxation and regulatory topics is an advantage.\n\nAt least intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, tables, filters, and data sets.\n\nGood analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on accuracy.\n\nAbility to organize tasks, meet agreed deadlines, and communicate proactively when clarification is needed.\n\nGood written and spoken English; B2 level or above is preferred.\n\nAvailability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including one day per week in the GBS Gdansk office.\n\nCuriosity, willingness to learn, responsibility, and openness to feedback.\n\nFamiliarity with SAP, Power BI, tax tools, automation, or AI-enabled business tools is a plus.\n\nWhat we offer:\nA contract of mandate with an hourly rate of PLN 31.40 gross.\n\nAn internship for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension to 6 or 9 months.\n\nPractical experience in tax and finance, support from experienced professionals, and participation in real businessactivities.\n\nOpportunities to develop analytical, digital, language, and AI-related knowledge and skills in an international environment.\n\n YOUR APPLICATION\n\nBayer welcomes applications from all individuals, regardless of race, national origin, gender, age, physical characteristics, social origin, disability, union membership, religion, family status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or any unlawful criterion under applicable law.
