If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.\nManufacturing Intern\nYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe primary responsibilities of this role are to:\nMust be involved in projects including, but not limited to, changeover reduction, 5S, Pareto Analysis, time study, value stream mapping, standardized work, and optimization of workflows, kaizen events, Statistical Process Control, and Process Control Systems; \nBasic use of project management skills; \nMust be willing to troubleshoot maintenance and reliability issues; \nLearn the basics of pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Packaging processing and equipment including dispensing, mixing, wet granulation, tablet compression, coating, and tablet printing; \nBe able to review equipment specifications; \nBe able to collect and analyze data to make decisions; \nWork with non-union plant personnel and possibly external vendors to implement solutions. \nWHO YOU ARE\nBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\nRequired Qualifications:\nCurrently either pursuing a Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, Data Science, or other related technical discipline; \nMust have completed at least 1 year of a Bachelors degree program;\nMust have good verbal and written communication skills in English; \nExperience with data analysis and root cause analysis; \nAbility to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects under tight timelines; \nStrong computer skills - Microsoft Office/ Excel Pivot Tables; \nBasic understanding of Process Control Systems and production floor automation. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior engineering internship or co-op experience ina pharmaceutical company in engineering or data science related job. \nEmployees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $24.00 to $43.25. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
