Ensures the safe, efficient, productive, and cost-efficient project design and implementation of capital projects throughout the Active Ingredient manufacturing and Formulations, Fill and Packaging facilities. This position provides technical knowledge and is accountable for planning, coordination, and execution of technical activities needed to support capital execution in manufacturing operations.\nTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide engineering project management to capital projects, from project initiation through completion.\nResponsible for moderate project complexity and moderate project load. \nDevelop accurate project cost estimates, identify cost-savings, and provide updates to management.\nLead project reviews and assure thorough action item follow-up. \nDevelop clear and concise appropriation requests, communicate and present background and justification.\nSelect appropriate vendors, soliciting bids with Purchasing. \nAssist Construction Field Coordinators with project implementation requirements; visit job sites to review work activities, safety, and construction. \nAccurately document project files and closure information in a timely manner. \nEnsure systems and equipment are designed and installed in accordance with Bayer and regulatory standards with life cycle cost considered. \nProvide input and engineering assistance to site personnel to facilitate application of plant and corporate standards, safety procedures, and other regulatory requirements.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nFour years of progressive engineering experience.\nStrong E&I trouble shooting skills. Proficient in SAP, Prometheus, and Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience with layout of construction or shutdown activities as related to project scheduling.\nPosting will be available until November 16, 2026\nEmployees can expect to be paid a salary between $73,120.00 - $109,680.00 per year. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
