They ensure safe, efficient, productive, and environmentally sound manufacture of active ingredients or intermediates.\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:\nMakes tactical decisions and sets direction to achieve area performance goals related to safety, quality, waste minimization, capacity, reliability, and operability.\nCoordinates with corporate and site production planners on production timing and raw material availability.\nDevelopment and tracking of key performance indicators.\nInvestigates plant performance issues related to safety, quality, environmental impact, capacity, reliability, and operability leading to proposal and implementation of sound technical solutions.\nServes as process expert and plant representative for design, construction, and implementation of investment projects - interfacing with technical professionals from other disciplines (e.g. PCT, project engineering, environmental and utility services operations, and process development).\nCreates, maintains, and develops standards for plant operating documentation (e.g. standard operating procedures, process descriptions, material and energy balances, P&IDs, and operating data collection and retrieval).\nResponsible for area PHA documentation.\nPropose designs and execute plant trials directed at enhancing plant performance and optimization.\nCompiles, formats, and submits environmental data necessary for timely and accurate filing with local, state, and federal agencies.\nPromotes continued development of self and area personnel through peer coaching and providing constructive feedback.\nSupport Site and Area Production System improvements.\nDirect report to the Area Leader; direct interface with area management, shift leaders, and support services representatives (e.g. maintenance and QHSE).\nCoordination and cooperation with area and site personnel to deliver efficient, effective, compliant, and responsive support to the shift organization.\nInterface with Corporate Production Planners, Raw Materials Procurement.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in chemical or metallurgical engineering OR knowledge of BS/BA completed by August 2027.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in an industrial manufacturing setting\nPosition is eligible for Domestic Relocation\nThis posting will expire on October 30, 2026.\nEmployees can expect to be paid a salary between $63,040.00 - $94,560.00per year.
