If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.\nSoftware Engineer (SAP APO/IBP Consultant)\nPOSITION PURPOSE:\nWe are expanding our team to work in DevOps mode to continue to support, enhance and roll out the Demand and Supply planning Capabilities for the CS Supply Chain team.\nYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWork closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Analytical teams to understand business processes and planning requirements.\nCollaborate with the Bayer Business Network to develop and support enterprise planning solutions that reduce operating costs and improve supply chain performance.\nLead the design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment of Planning Solutions.\nProvide production support for global planning and manufacturing operations.\nConfigure and maintain master data: BOMs, resources, location-product, classifications, and batch-related structures.\nDevelop and maintain interfaces between Planning and ECC/S4 systems.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance planning capabilities across global manufacturing sites.\nCreate Functional Design Specifications and detailed documentation to support custom enhancements, BI/Analytics, and performance improvements.\nPartner with cross functional teams, and Operations teams to resolve technical and process issues.\nTroubleshoot integration issues between Planning and ECC/S4 systems.\nIdentify process improvement opportunities using new functionalities and optimization methods.\nWHO YOU ARE:\nMinimum 8 years hands-on SAP APO configuration experience (DP, SNP, PP/DS) or SAP IBP experience (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP).\nAt least 2 full lifecycle APO and/or IBP implementations.\nExpertise in APO functionalities such as statistical forecasting, SNP heuristics/optimization, PP/DS detailed scheduling, supply heuristics, and inventory optimization.\nStrong understanding of master data, including BOMs, resources, PDS/PPM, classifications, and material/batch structures.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership.\nDemonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and determine feasibility of SAP-standard vs. custom solutions.\nSolid understanding of integration points across ECC/S4 modules (MM, PP, SD, FI/CO).\nAbility to write detailed functional specifications for planning algorithms, enhancements, CIF integrations, and operational reporting.\nEver feel burnt out by bureaucracy?
