You will contribute to key operational, quality, and process improvement activities that enable reliable, high-quality seed production.\nYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe primary responsibilities of this role are to:\nAssist with documentation of operational processes within the Manufacturing Excellence function;\nWork with onsite Manufacturing teams to execute key projects and deliverables in the processing of vegetable seeds;\nComplete data validation and SAP reports to support global and regional operations needs, including equipment run time, sustainability data, and plant scheduling needs;\nSupport Quality and HSE functions to drive key programs and targeted metrics;\nCollaborate with cross-functional regional teams and global teams to identify opportunities for improvement and work with the team to implement solutions;\nCooperate with Crop Specialists, Field Quality, Production Research, or Seed Technology personnel to identify, develop, and implement projects to improve reliability, quality, and/or cost;\nWork with global and regional teams on business initiatives, standardization, optimization projects, and related activities.\nKey Working Relationships:\nGlobal Manufacturing Excellence (MEX) Team\nRegional MEX Team\nRegional Plant Operations Leadership\nGlobal and Regional Supply Chain Management (SCM)\nGlobal and Regional Field Production\nWHO YOU ARE\nBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\nQualifications & Competencies:\nCurrently enrolled in a junior college or bachelor’s program leading to a degree in an agricultural-related field;\nValid driver’s license and personal transportation to and from the worksite;\nAbility to build relationships and work well in a team-based environment;\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization;\nSelf-motivated with a strong results orientation;\nDemonstrated ability to manage deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail;\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to organize (thoughts, data, etc.);\nExcellent computer skills related to data acquisition and record keeping;\nDemonstrated leadership ability;\nAbility to learn, willingness to ask questions, and adaptability to change.\nEmployees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22.75 to $47.75. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits may include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc (if relevant).
